It Doesn’t Look Like Easter Around this Piece. Take That, Dear Son!

Gavin, that funny little fellow, recently asked Kenny when Easter was coming. Kenny told him “two weeks.” Gavin remarked, “It sure doesn’t look like Easter’s coming around here. Outside looks good. In here – I don’t think the Easter Bunny will like it.” Nice. Critics abound! I know, I know, I haven’t decorated the house for Easter! I don’t even know WHERE the Easter decorations are (since we still have a somewhat embarrassing amount of unpacked boxes and totes in the garage). We found one small box of plastic eggs – not quite cutting it.

Luckily, I went to HomeGoods this past weekend and loved all of the remaining Easter decor they had on hand. Even more lucky, it was all $4 a piece. Luckier still, our new media console was delivered on Saturday, which left me with a fabulous blank canvas to Easter up.

I think E.B. will be happy, yes?

I'm Bridget. 37. Mom. Wife. Worker. I lived in Philadelphia (or thisclose to the city) for 35 years. That's all changed. We moved. From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. To Portland, Oregon. Cue minor culture shock.
